I went to Ms. Bloom-McDonald for her notary services. I had a very simple, common I9 form I needed filled out and stamped by a notary public for a telecommuting job I recently was hired for in another state. Ms. Bloom-McDonald was extremely confused by the paperwork, and became very resistant and clo...sed-off when, due to her confusion, I attempted to explain to her how to fill it out. She informed me I was reading the forms wrong and accused me of being rude. Frankly, I was shocked that a lawyer who must handle legal forms day in and day out would be so perplexed by such a basic form and I was surprised to have to try to tell her how to fill it out. I later double checked with my new employer who informed me that the way I was reading and interpreting the forms was absolutely correct and, when I brought the forms to another notary public, he completely and quickly understood exactly what needed to be done and said it was all very common protocol. Needless to say, I would certainly NOT recommend Ms. Bloom-McDonald to anyone seeking legal counsel . . . her difficulty with such a basic task as well as her extreme quickness to frustration and temper and her inability to listen are not impressive traits.
