also known as Judith M. Flynn
My practice is devoted to elder law, estate planning and special needs planning. I work with elders and their families in areas of long-term care planning and asset preservation, MassHealth applications and appeals, guardianships and conservatorships, special needs planning and trusts, estate planning, probate administration, and public benefits advocacy. Part of my practice has been devoted to litigation of issues affecting elders, such as contested guardianships and fiduciary litigation.
I served as President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (MassNAELA) in 2014, and served as President of the Massachusetts Guardianship Association in 2010 and 2011. I work with my MassNAELA colleagues to protect the rights of seniors and people with special needs through public policy efforts, advocacy, and education.
I am excited to be serving as Chair of NAELA's 2017 Annual Conference Committee, which will be held in Boston and will coincide with our Chapter's 25th anniversary.

Attny. Flynn Is an excellent lawyer. She led me through the whole process of caring for an elderly mother. Her health medical and living decisions. She made me comfortable from the first meeting at her office and was always available to answer any questions at a moments notice. Now being at a ...

I cannot say enough regarding the help that I have received from Judy with my difficult case. From the beginning she got results, she cared, and she always had time for me, even with her busy schedule. Not only is she highly intelligent, but she is extremely perceptive and knows her way around the ...

My mother was in a rehab facility and we were informed that her Medicare benefit was being terminated. We felt it was too early and that she needed more rehabilitation, and we had seen an article by Attorney Flynn on the subject. After assessing my mother's situation, Attorney Flynn advised us that...
"I wholeheartedly endorse Attorney Judy Flynn. I have known her for about 5 years and in each interaction I am impressed with her knowledge and judgement. I find her to be a determined, compassionate, informed and effective advocate for her clients. She has helped me think through some of my own cases and her input has always been extremely helpful."
"I have known Atty. Flynn for many years, and I have always found her to be ethical, creative and very able in her representation of clients in the areas of Elder Law and Estate Planning. She is one of the premier attorneys in Massachusetts and has been a leader in guardianship, conservatorship and related practice areas. Atty. Flynn speaks to the public and also presents to the other lawyers in Massachusetts. Her award as one of the Top Women in Law in Massachusetts is well-deserved, and any client should be confident in engaging Atty. Flynn to assit them with their legal matters."
"I have know Judy for over a decade. In addition to her leadership in the elder law bar, she is an energetic, creative and powerful advocate for her clients, and is unafraid to take on the tough cases. I have no problem cheerfully referring matters on the South Shore to her."
"I have known Attorney Flynn for about five years. She has consistenly impressed me with her knowledge of and compassion for elder law. She has been a great mentor and I wouldn't hesitate to send a client to her as circumstances warrant. I highly recommend and endorse Attorney Flynn."
"I had a case against Judy several years ago. I found her to be smart, fast, aggressive and determined to reach her desired outcome. These are critical attributes in contested guardianship litigation involving claims of financial exploitation and deep family discord. Ultimately, we settled the case and have since developed a professional friendship based on collegiality, mutual respect and admiration. I refer potential clients to Judy knowing that she will serve their needs with smarts and strength and a no-nonsence approach."
"Judith Flynn is a very knowledgeable and competent attorney. Not only have I collaborated with her on a few client matters I have referred clients to her that require probate litigation because I am confident that my clients will receive the best legal representation available while being treated with dignity, patience, and respect."
