Confident, Knowledgable and Compassionate

Every divorce is different in the degree of difficulty and details. By the time I found Maureen I had already worked with two attorneys. There were challenges in my divorce because of my family’s business and my ex husband was being very challenging. Maureen treated me with kindness, compassion and h...elped get me to the finish. Her patient and calm demeanor was instrumental while dealing with a multi-faceted situation dealing with both family, divorce and business. Her excellent knowledge of both the law coupled with her solid experience in the courtroom helped me prevail every time we had to go before a judge. Maureen’s authenticity and integrity puts her in a league of her own. She loves what she does and wants her clients to get the best outcome.

Professional, Experienced and Reliable

I highly recommend Maureen. She was so knowledgeable about the law. She always stood by my side and made me feel comfortable and safe she was on my side. She was a strong advocate for me and my son.

Mr

Maureen was a pleasure to work with, the case was contentious and the opposing counsel was very difficult with communications. Maureen was tactful, patient and strategic and kept the process moving. As we neared the end of our case Maureen realized she needed assistance in dealing with the opposing c...ounsel. She brought in her partner Alex and he was able to open the lines of communication and put the finishing touches on the negotiation of a fair and reasonable settlement. This is why Maureen and her firm are so successful, they have partners that can lean one another if negotiations become challenging. I highly recommend Maureen and her entire firm !

Outstanding lawyer

Maureen is an excellent lawyer. She was recommended to me by a trusted friend who was raving about her. So I came in with high expectations. Maureen is clear, to the point, fast (never wasted my or her time or tried to stretch an issue), extremely bright, optimistic and funny. She is always looking f...or a sensible solution (not a fight for fight sake), and at the same time you know she will go to bat for you if needed. I enjoyed every conversation we had and can highly recommend her.

Misses deadlines

Handed off work to junior attorney. Missed almost every court deadline. We failed to file a Motion for Temporary Orders, or even a Response to Motion on time.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
