Personalized Service From a Pro

Mark brings a very focused and personalized approach to his legal services. He was willing to work when and where was convenient and took his time to explain the various ramifications of the decisions I had to make. Family law can be complicated and contentious and he was patient, professional, and c...aring throughout the process.

Honest / Compassionate lawyer who works very hard to help

My husband and I sought the help of Mr.Cotton when we were blind sided for a Modification of support 2 weeks prior to moving out of state from my husbands older children (due to job relocation), At the time we were trying to work out a new visitation agreement with the girls mother with no success.... Mark prevailed through all the struggles and we now have the visitation we need to maintain a healthy fulfilling relationship with our older children. Mark was very patient and understanding when it came to the best needs of the children. He is the first lawyer I have met that genuinely cares for his clients and their needs. Dealing with Mark was always a pleasure, He was always very informative and always kept in constant contact with us letting us know where we stood and the next steps. I would and have recommended Mark to anyone looking for legal service. He is outstanding!!!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
