Melanie Hagopian-Asadorian

We were buying our first house and Melanie was recommended to us by our real estate agent. She did a great job of explaining every thing to us in great detail. She was patient and answered all of our questions in a friendly and straightforward manner. When we had her in person or on the phone, she... was on top of everything and had all the information. It was the in between times that were a little difficult. In the end, she did an all around wonderful job, but there were a couple times during the process that we felt out of sync and not a priority. Also, our closing took forever(nothing to do with her) and we went way over her estimate for how much everything would cost(not unexpected). It was a little frustrating that she didn't give us a heads up that we had surpassed the projected cost, especially when the final cost was almost double the original estimate. Maybe she had a lot of clients at the same time or something, but we felt like we slipped through the cracks at times. That said, when we worked with directly, all our worries melted away. In the end, those are the times that really matter.

I hired Melanie Hagopian Esq. to handle both the sale of my home and the purchase of another. She made the process easy, and dealt with the other attorneys and real estate agents in a very professional manner. In a few difficult instances, Attorney Hagopian never lost her cool. I highly recommend her... and her associates. .

We recently hired Melanie to represent us in a real estate case and were not pleased with our experience working with her. The first time we met, she forgot about our appointment, was not in her office and kept us waiting. The letter that she drafted to send to the people we were bring suit against w...as full of factual and grammatical errors. She was difficult and unpleasant to work with and she did not give us any confidence that she knew what she was doing. She did not keep us informed of what was happening. The people we were bringing a suit against forwarded correspondence between our attorney and their attorney that we were completely unaware of, and which did not represent our wishes or interest. We ended up settling without an attorney because she was so difficult to work with. I would not recommend her services to anyone.
