Litigation Services

I met and hired Paul Hughes, over 25 years ago. Paul helped me win two different cases requiring litigation. The first was a complicated collection case for my company, involving a large sum of money. Paul excelled tactically throughout the proceedings. It is my belief, that his keen instincts throug...hout the deposition process, was the cornerstone of our success in the case. The second case pertained to fraudulent behavior, which Paul swiftly and decisively got to court and won. The judge in that case, personally told me that Paul did a good job in representing my interests. I plan on utilizing Pauls services again, with respect to my upcoming estate needs. Paul is very well rounded, and extremely ethical. I cannot overstate the importance of ethics, when selecting an attorney. I have no reservation in recommending Paul's services for any legal matters, regardless of scope, that require resolution.

Competent and trustworthy

I’ve known Paul for close to ten years and during that time, have sought his counsel on various litigation, corporate and real estate matters. He is very knowledgeable and professional in his handling of a variety of situations. A hard worker: six days a week, not one of the “Tuesday to Thursday b...oys"; has a network of very experienced colleagues to assist in other related areas if the need arises; completes assignments in a timely basis with reasonable fees. In addition to being very competent, Paul is a caring person as is evidenced by his highly acclaimed work on the St. James Catholic Church property in Wellesley. He is not afraid to take on and stay with difficult cases. Paul is an honest person, people trust him and view him as a friend; he will not let you down.

Estate and Will Help

Paul Hughes was my aunt's attorney, drawing up her will many years ago. When she passed away, I became the executor of her estate. He was extremely helpful as he walked me through the complexities of probating her will. He explained every step of the court process and helped me meet all the requireme...nts all of managing the estate and divesting funds. Paul is kind and understanding; I feel like I had a friend helping me through all of the legal hoops. His rates are fair and reasonable; there were no surprises. He is now my attorney and I highly recommend him to my friends and family.
