Austin Clifford Tzeng

In just one day Austin wiped out my entire criminal record. He successfully cleared four criminal warrants and had all four criminal cases against me dismissed in three different courts. His communication throughout the process was excellent and his rapport with the ADAs and Judges was immediately ob...vious, as we completed a tour of various district courts in the Boston area. Austin even arrived at one court ahead of time and literally had the case dismissed before we even parked our car, just one of a handful of absolutely incredible outcomes that day. Austin Tzeng represented me in a criminal defense matter in the Cambridge District Court. During his representation, I underwent an evaluation by the Court's Clinical Psychologist, who found that I was not competent to stand trial, and who recommended further evaluation to determine competency. Thi...s evaluation and report was suppressed by the judge, who ordered the case to trial. Austin Tzeng was aware of the interview, evaluation, report, and published recommendation that a trial should NOT be held, pending resolution of the question of doubt concerning my so-called competence. Attorney Tzeng either made no effort to obtain the published and completed report during the period of his connection with the case; nor did he provide continuity and sufficient background concerning this issue to successor counsel. As a result of the wrongfulness of the trial and its constitutional defects, Trial Judge made a finding of ineffective assistance of counsel and has remanded the case back to the Court for re-trial.
