One of the more uncomfortable things to face as we age is making sure, in the event of death, that our survivors aren’t faced with more challenges and costs than need be in carrying out our last wishes. And, for many of us, especially if complicated family relationships have developed over the years, the idea of seeking out a lawyer to review/update our estate plan is something that’s a lot easier to just keep putting off until some vague future date.
