Attorney Bellotti began his career as a former senior assistant district attorney for Middlesex County. In 1989, Attorney Bellotti transferred his skills into private practice when he opened Bellotti Law Group (then known as Bellotti & Barretto, before Attorney James Barretto was nominated by Governor Deval Patrick and later accepted a judgship as Associate Justice of the Massachusetts District Court). After decades of successful practice, Peter has gained unique experience, valuable insight, and a keen perspective on nearly every facet and nuance of litigation, while losing none of the enthusiasm, diligence, and meticulousness he possessed as a younger attorney. Peter built Bellotti Law Group on the promise of being client focused and results driven. He has never strayed from that belief and practices law daily with those ideals in mind.

Genuinely Good Person, Great Lawyer

Peter Bellotti and his team defended me in a criminal defense matter when I was young and going through a difficult time in my life. I was blown away by the kindness and compassion of Bellotti and the other attorneys I spoke with. He was extremely helpful, always taking the time to answer my many anx...ious questions and never rushing me. Bellotti provided excellent counsel and I was able to navigate through the court and sentencing process as seamlessly as I could have hoped. The decision in my case was sympathetic to me, thanks to Bellotti's compelling presentation, ultimately sparing me what could have been an expensive and punitive outcome. Since that time, I've gone on to work in law firms, which only solidified my initial impression that Bellotti is not your average lawyer. Where many firms want to take your money and move on, Bellotti takes a personal interest in his cases and has a genuine desire to help people and protect their rights. In my experience, this attorney and Firm are reputable, responsive, compassionate and tenacious. I definitely recommend.

Detailed-oriented, Insightful, and Knowledgeable

I am a Paramedic in the city of Boston. Not too long ago I found myself in a legal issue so I began my search on the best attorney that I can find. I was very fortunately to have found Mr. Bellotti to help me with my case. He did a fantastic job representing me and consistently went above and beyond ...what is required of him. Whenever I have questions regarding my case, I know that he will get back to me and answer my questions in a timely manner. He kept me in the loop the entire time and was very insightful and detail oriented about my case (and I'm telling you he is extremely detailed and gave me pointers to things that I have never considered; this just tells you how much he cares). He gave me hope in the times when I felt it is the worst time of my life. I highly recommend Mr. Bellotti should you ever find yourself in need of an amazing attorney.

Exceeded my expectations

I went to Bellotti Law Group after a bad car accident I was involved in, in Boston. My now husband is also an attorney, and didn't hesitate to recommend Peter as the best personal injury lawyer in the area. He was 100% correct, as Peter explained the process, paid attention to every detail, and kep...t me informed of the progress during my case. There are a lot of personal injury lawyers in Boston, but none that are as kind or compassionate (while still being tenacious!) as Peter.

Excellent lawyer!!

Peter Bellotti is an outstanding lawyer. I am a professional who has never been in trouble with the law and I was arrested and charged under some very unfortunate circumstances. I was devastated and talked to numerous different high-rated criminal defense attorneys. Among them Peter Bellotti stood ou...t, he seemed to genuinely care about my case and fully understand my concerns about my reputation.
