Joseph M. Perullo

In 2012 I was engaged in a case where I was assigned to attorney Perullo by the state since I couldn't afford a private attorney. Several of my co-defendants were also assigned public attorneys. As the case progressed it seemed like my peers' attorneys didn't take the case seriously at all - for exam...ple one didn't return phone calls and neglected to meet with his client altogether. Perullo on the other hand was very helpful and was always available to meet with me and discuss the case details. In the end he pretty much carried the case for us (even though I was the only client he was bound to). On a personal note, I was a student at the time and I was very worried about losing my financial support or getting expelled for my involvement in the case. Attorney Perullo recognized the personal importance of the case to me and went out of his way to close the case as soon as possible. He was very friendly and professional; It was his determination and knowledge of the law which won us the case.
