Called Mr. Crick in regards to complaint about our SUV,its manufacture & dealership when it comes to things that we've noticed as well as complained about as far as how it drives before it was sold during a test drive. The sales rep just kept saying he didn't hear anything nor feel anything. Since we...'ve been driving this vehicle it's been one such headache after another. After the paperwork was signed & sold to my son,The sales clerk who helped finalize everything came out then told us we couldn't take the SUV home because there was no title.Had to wait almost 6 weeks before it arrived. Took possession with a valid inspection sticker that we didn't obtain ourselves from an outside inspection center. We've had 3 RF passenger side CV axles replaced-one or two wheel bearings on the RF,drive shaft, missing lug nut discovered missing after papers were signed,discovered a tech failed to put 2 lug nuts back on (One being the locking lug nut) after a scheduled oil change & tire rotation,countless amount of blown headlamps replaced,discovered a CAR FAX on the SUV stuffed in between the passenger front seat & the center counsel the wasn't in the vehicle during the road test saying the the vehicle was involved in a prior accident & also a transmission replaced to costing us $2,000 an yet another loan for that repair. The transmission failed about 10 right after we just had it serviced. By the way,There's a 6 year loan on this 2011 SUV that will conclude its first 2 years on May 11,2019. still having about 4 years left to pay on it...We have a bad MAF sensor, a bad California emission Catalytic converter,drivers side window motor a something else needs replacing.And we just had the electronic steering column & blower motor for heat repaired within the last 2 months. The converter,window motor failure,MAF sensor failure,blower motor & steering column were all out during the winter months.With the extensive repairs & payments trying to be made,We've fallen behind on payments trying to come up with my money for repairs since our warranty is no longer. On 4-8-2019 we eventually saved up enough money to get the steering column fixed at a dealership in NH we drove it to another location in Massachusetts before returning home for the evening.After being upstairs for a bit, I went downstairs to the SUV to retrieve something a I forgot in the vehicle.I noticed what I initially believed was a bad bulb flickering.So I tried to just remove the bulb when & a strong whiff of smoke hit me in the face.Called the wife on my cell telling her what I just discovered. Just prior to her coming outside,I forcefully removed two covers & noticed a foam flap over the area I was investigating.I lifted the flap & a small fire ball came up towards my face while the box was sparking.Contacted the fire dept to help me get the junction box wires off as I couldn't get them apart on the drivers side near where you foot would rest. Eventually we got the battery disconnected not before it started to repeat its self. It sits now at another dealership & can't be driven due to the small fire that has burnt two key wiring harnesses at the box area. We found out that the area was prone to catching fire due to the rug getting wet from snow,salt & rain etc from your feet.Their fix for that is to place a piece of foam sprayed with water repellent OVER the box protecting it from top to bottom,Not from the left or right nor underneath where the rug is located around the box. An eye pooping $8,000 more in repairs to the costly extensive repairs now already. Insurance won't cover the repairs due to mileage,the age of the vehicle & not enough damage.We just can't due the repairs,pay for the note & full coverage anymore. Our spirit,mind & souls are gone trying to keep this ship afloat & we just can't do it anymore. Forced to leave it there due to now EXTREME financial hardship & go from there unless Mr. Crick,the manufacturer,dealership & us come to a meeting of the minds. We're done...
