This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This status means that an attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a specific period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.
Disbarment is the most serious penalty for a lawyer. If this attorney is currently practicing law, you should contact the California State Bar to understand the reasons for disbarment.
Public reprimand means the attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar warns the lawyer in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior and places conditions on the lawyer's license.

I hired Attorney Paul Manoff Esq., back in 1996 for sexual harassment case against retail company. He listened to my cause and believed in me. Attorney Manoff and I worked like a team. He kept me informed of all updates. He is honest and professional. I have another employment discrimination case and would like to hire him. I hope he gets back as soon as possible so I can have him to handle any case if any in the future.

This site offers minimal space so I cannot fully elaborate on this attorneys astounding unprofessionalism. He is surly, lazy, deceptive and cowardly. During our professional relationship he refused to take my calls. My case was dismissed because of his incompetence. Please note his past BBO record. Truly despicable.

After review of my own case and receiving my file I found that Mr. Manoff failed in many areas of my case to resolve properly.
Mr. Manoff failed to communicate with me in a professional level. Mr. Manoff at conclusion of settlement admitted his intent was to never get my case to trial, which was completely against my wishes. Please review Mr. Manoff"s Public Reprimand by The Commonwealth of Massachusetts had I known this case was pending I would have fired him immediately.
