Biography
Matt received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire, and Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in 1988. Matt returned to VLS in 1992, and obtained a Masters Degree in Environmental Law and Policy, magna cum laude, which has assisted him in understanding the intricacies of Superfund, state oil and hazardous materials statutes and regulations, solid waste management, and state and local wetlands and waterways laws. His scope of representation has ranged from individuals to publicly traded utility companies, including stints as in-house counsel for an automobile finance corporation, and a landfill capping and closure company. After thirty years practicing law in Massachusetts, Matt was admitted to the New York Bar in 2018 and practiced in Buffalo, New York for four years. He recently returned to Massachusetts, and joined Ohrenberger De Lisi & Harris in the fall of 2021. He continues to represent individuals, small businesses, and corporations in the areas of civil litigation, environmental and land use law, insurance law and employment matters.
