Tom just completed our will, set up trusts and worked with my wife and I in getting our estate plan finalized and explaining our options. It was a pleasure working with Tom. He explained things very thoroughly and made us feel very comfortable immediately. We were charged a very reasonable flat fee, ...so we never felt that the clock was always ticking. We had 3 sit down meetings with Tom and each time my wife and I were totally impressed by his competence, professionalism and his caring demeanor. A review should be written when everything is fresh in mind but here it is, still on my mind to do, even a few years later. My wife and I met Tom on a "get to know each other" consult and found Tom to be a good listener, easy to understand, honest and caring. Most importantly, Tom was up to speed with the ever-changing rules of estate planning needs which including trusts, wills, health care proxy and power of attorney. We took care of everything painlessly in 2-3 meetings. As a side note, we asked Tom to review our elderly mother's recently updated trust and discovered that the recent updates did not protect her assets as expected. Tom's knowledge in this field is current and extremely important, especially with the ever-changing laws. We feel very good about recommending Tom Marks as your attorney.
