Gary S Avratin

After 8 years with a previous attorney who could not resolve my paternity case, Gary was recommended to my by a friend. I called Gary on December 21st (2011), left a message, and within a couple of hours, he returned my call. On June 4th (2012) Gary was able to get my case resolved, thus putting stre...ss behind me. What is most important is that Gary has never met me. I reside in Florida, however, my paternity case was in MA, and due to illness, I was never able to travel to MA to meet with him personally. This did not deter Gary in any way from taking on my case and handling it in a professional, yet precise and concise manner. Through his review of my (8 yr) file with the previous attorney, Gary discovered errors and omissions (which the previous attorney did not recognize)which helped bring my case to fruition. He was able to draft an agreement which both parties (plus the judge) found to be more than fair and acceptable. Gary is a down to earth, "regular" guy with a sense of humor, yet thorough, cut to the chase, non-judgmental, with reasonable attorney fees. He was always compassionate, and caring about me and my family (again, while never physically meeting me). I highly recommend Gary.

Gary has been excellent since the very beginning of my case. He was clear on what I needed to do, what he needed from me, and what he would provide. He gave sound advice throughout the process. He knows the law and the legal system, as well as the judges and other lawyers. The respect that he has ea...rned and his relationships are invaluable in navigating this process. He is available by phone, email and text, even on weekends when necessary. He is also very busy, since he is in high demand, so I learned to trust that if I left a message and the situation needed immediate action he would be on it. If I didn't hear back right away, then my issue was not a crisis and I could relax and he would get back to me as soon as possible. Divorce is a miserable experience to go through, but Gary helped make it manageable and got me the best possible outcome. I would absolutely hire him again.

Gary is a busy lawyer for a good reason. He's smart, driven to find the truth, detailed, hardworking, results oriented and he cares about your family and genuinely wants to help you. He knows the law, he knows the players and he knows how to get the best outcome. To merely say he'll work hard for you... and your family is an understatement-he's in the office early (5:30 AM) and works late. As a Father in Massachusetts, I knew I would have a difficult time. Gary put me to work and together we dug for the details. Honestly, some of the things we found surprised me. Then Gary went above and beyond with his own research. His philosophy is that he'd rather have the facts and not need them, than to need the facts and not have them. He then compiled everything, organized a strategy and delivered results. Gary takes a team approach, so expect to do your homework. In my mind there's no better way to approach it and no one better to represent you.

I had hopes that we could end our relationship peacefully and take back our initial investments. He thought differently & kept dragging me into court monthly. Then I hired Gary. He was recommended by a client. I can't say enough about Gary. During this difficult time, he was always well prepared fo...r court,("his" lawyer could never keep up, she was always fumbling for responses to Gary). He was very sharp, intelligent and honest. He expected honesty from his client. When an agreement was finallly made, (in my favor) he recommended a financial & legal team that was able to very swiftly(in record time) help me buy "him" out & end the year long nightmare. Because of Gary, I can finally relax. He's a great caring person as well as an excellent lawyer. I can't say enough good things about him.
