Won every court appearance we had!

Gary is a compassionate attorney who I was fortunate to find. He was my second attorney and I did a lot of research before making the decision to hire Gary. My divorce was quite complicated as it involved a young child, a restraining order, a business and several pieces of real estate all of which ...were highly contested. Gary navigated me seamlessly though understanding our strategy, supported by case law, and confidently advocated for me in my many court appearances. He was always extremely organized, diligent in his efforts and always took the time to check in on me to ensure I was doing ok. My divorce took many unexpected twists and turns and he was always my calming force, strong and steady and was able to comb through many messy details of my case. Almost 2-years in we were headed for trial and if you think your case might also go to trial, you want Gary as your attorney! He’s experienced with the process which has many rules different from normal court appearances. Gary also has a comprehensive understanding of financials which was needed in my case as it involved a complicated business and real estate valuations. He found errors in valuations in the opposing side, all which were confirmed to be valid and forced them to correct their position. He was also always very diligent in all his pleadings to ensure I was properly protected. I am grateful I did not end up in trial, but If I did I would not have wanted anyone else to defend me. We were fortunate to settle the case when my ex’s first attorney(Katie Murphy) quit and he got another one, who finally brought a sense of reason to the table and Gary and her were able to settle my case. What stands out the most about Gary is that remembered some of the smallest details that I had even forgotten, he was always considerate of how I was feeling and is extremely zealous and successfully argued and won virtually every time we were before the judge. He knows family law very well and I always trusted his advice and direction, which always panned out positively for me. Gary is also supported by his associate Helene who is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, detail oriented, and an attorney herself making them a very strong team. My case overall took a little over two years to settle and most of which I had Gary as my attorney. He always made himself accessible even on weekends, early mornings and evenings, and he is not like most other attorneys charging for every minute you speak with them. I felt like he was always considerate on the billing and often did not charge me for things. He is a reasonable compassionate and very knowledgeable attorney and I would choose him again in a heartbeat.

Gary has my recommendation

Gary was not my divorce lawyer but I often wished he was. I hired Gary after spending many thousands of dollars on a divorce which left me financially vulnerable and with an ex-husband who was in contempt of our separation agreement. Gary spent 1 1/2 hours with me, learning the facts of my case befor...e he was even hired. He was confident that he could help me to rectify the situation and that confidence rubbed off on me. His fees were very fair (and I should know having been "churned" by my divorce lawyers) and he was very accessible by phone, email and even text. I subsequently recommended Gary to a close friend of mine who is going through a divorce. She is midway through the process and is very satisfied. This fall I retained Gary again to represent me in the recent sale of my home. His fees were very reasonable and, once again, he helped me remain calm as we navigated through several “glitches” relating to the buyers’ mortgage commitment.
