Additionally, Patrick gained experience with residential real estate transactions and land use matters.
Early in his career, Patrick served as counsel and business analyst in the Bureau of Program Integrity at the Massachusetts Inspector General's Office. Patrick worked closely with a variety of human services agencies in an effort to improve the quality, efficiency and integrity of public benefits programs as well as state agency strategic management and operations. Patrick has nearly five years of practical risk management experience focused on a strong internal controls framework, legislative and regulatory compliance, and the development innovative financial and operational business processes. Before joining the Inspector General's Office, Patrick operated his own law practice in Salem, Massachusetts.
In 2017, Patrick received his M.B.A degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He received his J.D. degree in 2012 from New England School of Law where he served as the editor-in-chief of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. Patrick received his B.A. degree from Connecticut College in 2007.
