Estate planning and health care assistance is top notch

Patrick and the team at Curley are amazing! From my early inquiries with Debbie all the way to the finish line their assistance was always generous, thoughtful, and considerate. My 77 year old mom lives at home alone and is having health issues. With the Curley teams help we got her estate planning ...done and got her on MassHealth. She now gets care through the state for 20 hours a day. It was a struggle to get the overnight care in place but Curley advocated for our family and my mom and now we can be sure that she is being cared for and her future at her own home is secure. Thanks team!

Extremely Professional

I met Patrick Curley at a seminar on aging in Wakefield and retained him immediately. He was professional and timely in securing my mother the security she needs to live our her days at home. His knowledge and expertise, matched with his kindness to a sensitive situation made an extremely difficult... task manageable for me trying to juggle all of the items needed for a timely submission. If you are on the fence about whether or not to use an elder attorney for your affairs - please - make the call. I'm so glad I did.

Best decision I made for my Moms well being!

I was referred to Patrick Curley Law firm when my mom was diagnosed with a termnal illness and she needed assistance with high costs of home healthcare. I was so impressed with Patrick and his office staff. It was the best decision I made to contact Patrick Curley to get my mom on masshealth. He wa...s so informative and kind with both my mom and myself. He even made home visits to my mom to thoroughly explain every action we were taking. He went above and beyond to achieve the best results for my moms well being. This is a long and stressful process and he was always available to answer questions and guide me through the process. I could not of achieved this without him. I would not hesitate to recommend the The Curley Law Firm. I am so pleased with his services..

Top-notch Estate Planning/Elder Law Attorneys and Staff Who Genuinely Care

My family and I retained Curley Law Firm LLP for estate and MassHealth planning services in August 2017. My father, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's several years ago, landed in the hospital that summer with a horrible infection had weakened him considerably. My mother and I were left with the pa...inful decision to keep him in a nursing facility permanently after his short term rehab was complete as it became clear that my mother could no longer care for him full time. This was an extremely difficult time for my parents and me. And, as I was the only sibling able to assist both parents, I felt completely alone and without any experience to guide me through how to help them. As soon as I met Patrick Curley, his colleague Lucy Budman, and his paralegal, Debbie Tura, during one of his very helpful local seminars, I knew I would be in good hands, and I would no longer have to navigate the labyrinthian MassHealth laws alone. My parents did not have a will or any estate planning completed during this time, and Patrick and his incredible team coordinated all of my parents' estate planning swiftly while still covering every complex detail. Patrick and his team are not only extremely knowledgeable in the ever-changing MassHealth and estate planning laws and responsive to clients' questions/needs, but they are also incredibly kind, warm and patient. In a vulnerable time when emotions are heightened, Patrick and his team never once made me feel like I had to figure anything out completely on my own. They not only knew exactly what to do in completing all of the necessary documentation, but are always very responsive in answering any questions I have either via phone or email. Several times Debbie stayed on the line with with my mother and me through long, tedious phone calls to financial institutions and insurance companies. The entire team is always so supportive, and they even handled most of our estate planning and signing meetings at my father's nursing home to make everything more convenient. Patrick and his team's advice extends well beyond estate and MassHealth planning. He and his paralegal, Debbie Tura, advised me on the process of transferring my father to another nursing home where my father is so much happier and thriving, and it suits his needs so much better. I never would have been able to navigate that process without Patrick and Debbie's help. Working with them has been one of the best decisions we've made as a family, and it helped us tremendously. I would highly recommend Curley Law Firm, as they are top-notch, genuinely caring, and will get the job done, even in a crisis situation.

Excellent work with MassHealth

I highly recommend Attorney Patrick Curley and his office. We recently retained Patrick to help my mother apply for MassHealth benefits. Patrick was able to accelerate MassHealth eligibility and avoid potential penalties. He helped us secure an early start date which maximized her benefits. In add...ition, he sought and won a modification to move the date back an additional 2 weeks when an unexpected medical charge was received for that earlier time frame. My mother had some considerable, outstanding bills which we expected to pay out of pocket. However, Patrick secured short term benefits initially which allowed some funds to be set aside for a limited period. In our case, she was able to use these funds to address all her obligations. We were not even aware of this option so saw this as a major, unexpected victory. After approval, Patrick completed his MassHealth service with a well written letter of instruction explaining what we needed to do going forward as well as what to expect with re-eligibility. We went to Patrick because we had retained him previously for MassHealth assistance and Lucy Budman for estate planning for a close relative. We were very satisfied then as now, so I would recommend Curley Law Firm LLC for estate planning as well. Patrick, Lucy, Debbie and Lynne are a truly professional team and very patient helping families work through what can be stressful issues. Finally, I cannot stress enough the value of having a legal professional like Patrick on your "Team" as a go-to resource. Situations can arise that require timely response. Having a certified elder law professional that is already familiar with your situation and is thus ready to act on your behalf is invaluable.

"I have known Patrick for more than 10 years and I have referred several family members and friends to him. They have all raved about his knowledge and his ability to relate to and inform them about the law and their options. I have been told that he has helped them save their homes, stay in their homes and keep money rather than paying it elsewhere. They tell me that they in turn refer their family members and friends to Patrick which is the greatest compliment of all. I endorse Patrick to anyone seeking elder law advice or help in estate planning."
