Alexander R. Cain

Attorney Alexander Cain was born and raised in the Merrimack Valley Region of Massachusetts.  He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1989 and from Merrimack College 1993 with a degree in economics.  In 1996, he received his juris doctorate from New England School of Law.  From 1997 to 2004, he was a prosecutor with the Essex County District Attorney's Office.  Between 1998 and 2001, he supervised the District Attorney's Office located at the fifth busiest court in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Lawrence District Court.  From 2001 to 2004, Attorney Cain was a superior court prosecutor, handling the prosecution of major felonies, including rape, arson, trafficking in narcotics, motor vehicle theft and vehicular homicides.  He was also entrusted with the prosecution of gang, firearm and white collar crimes, coordinated with Federal authorities in the take down of several violent street gangs and served as the liaison to the United States Attorney's Office in Boston. 

In 2004, Alex left the District Attorney's Office to open his own firm.  Attorney Cain has devoted his entire practice solely to the field of criminal defense ... federal and state and trial and appellate.  Attorney Cain has tried countless criminal misdemeanor and felony matters on the juvenile, district and superior court levels.  His current clients include those charged with arson, murder, rape, assault and battery, drunken driving (OUI/DWI), larceny, robbery and narcotic distribution.
