My case was very challenging as my uncooperative ex-wife moved out of state to Florida and the retirement funds were moved to a different company. Melanie was very organized and kept tabs on my case to keep things moving. She persisted and pushed things along till it's successful conclusion. What stood out to me was that Melanie was a true professional. My case was probably one of her smallest cases, but she cared, accepted full responsibility of my case and I always felt like she was giving me the same effort of her more lucrative cases. Melanie's billing was more than fair and offered great value. My only regret is that I didn't select Melanie from the start. In my heart, I know Melanie would have got things done once, right and the first time. SELECTING THE RIGHT LAWYER CAN BE A LIFE CHANGING AND CONSEQUENTIAL DECISION. As a client I have to disagree with the one star rating. I gave her 5 and she earned each one. I know nothing your case. But plenty about law and attorney's. Every single one is overwhelmed with work. To say she didn't know or do things on time or at all. She would never have passed the BAR and at th...e very least have had her licence revoked by now if your claims had validity.

She didn't have a clue what she was doing with my case. She's the kind of lawyer who actually hurt my case with the foolish things she said in court, because she wasn't prepared and didn't know the most basic information she needed to find out beforehand. Kept saying she didn't have time to talk be...cause she had too many cases. Horrible! When I asked her what she was doing and how she had messed up so badly, she just began trying to attack me, the client, in order to cover up her poor performance. Ridiculously bad.
