IID VIOLATION HEARING

I cannot express enough gratitude to Brian Simoneau for the exceptional service and dedication he provided throughout my case. From the very beginning, Brian treated my situation as if it were his own, and his compassion and professionalism were evident in every step he took. What stood out to me ...the most was his genuine approach — he immediately took on my case without demanding any upfront payment. He sent me a payment link only when I felt comfortable and had done my research on him, which truly spoke to his transparency and trustworthiness. Brian didn’t waste any time. He swiftly prepared an affidavit for me to sign and went above and beyond in requesting multiple BRAC reports from the company that services my IID. He meticulously gathered all the necessary evidence and built a solid defense on my behalf. During the entire process, both my family and I were in a dark place, feeling depressed and hopeless. I didn’t know where to turn, especially with the looming threat of losing my license for 10 years. But Brian was a guiding light, helping me navigate the legal complexities and providing me with the assurance I desperately needed. Thanks to his expertise and unwavering commitment, he was able to get my case dismissed at the DMV hearing yesterday 3.4.2025. I know that if I had tried to handle this myself, I would have lost, even though I was innocent. If you are about to lose your license and can prove your innocence to Brian, he will have your back and win your case.

The Man You Need

The RMV can't read their own reports. I was accused of flunking a rolling test with my ignition interlock device. They were going to suspend my license and pursue criminal charges. All because they misread a report. Brian sorted this all out. He saved my job, my marriage and my home.

The One to Hire

I did not hire Brian Simoneau, but I initially called him, and he referred me to another lawyer. I had a situation where a police officer had filed a criminal negligent driving charge against me for something the Police did not witness. And the crooked cop in my town also had filed an immediate thr...eat on my drivers license for the same incident (I had a clean criminal and driving record). A person ran in front of a moving car deliberately, screaming and making threats, and taking video.. The lawyer I hired consulted with Brian on things. Brian had more knowledge. He knew that anyone on pretrial probation does not qualify to get your license back from the RMV. If my lawyer had known that, he would have argued to get the charges dropped immediately rather than allowing pretrial probation. Another important thing that I learned during this process (5 months without my license!), is that because I was never convicted of a driving charge and had all the tickets removed, Massachusetts cannot (and did not!) report the immediate threat to national drivers registry. Unless you were actually convicted of a driving charge, the immediate threat does not go on your driving record. I was advised by my attorney not to seek a drivers license in a neighboring state (where I have a legal right to). I requested my national driving registry records, which took months to arrive, but were clean the entire time…. I honestly believe I could’ve gone to the neighboring state and gotten a drivers license and been legally driving the entire time, despite that, I was advise not to. It’s worth noting that in Rhode Island a cop absolutely cannot file an revocation on anyone’s license without a court proceeding FIRST. And the court proceeding would involve an arrest in RI. I believe MA is technically violating our civil rights. And remember that Massachusetts is now allowing illegal undocumented people to get a drivers license just by showing their birth certificate from another country! We have no idea if they were criminal drivers in another country.

License Suspension

My son had is his license suspended for 1 year on an out of state charge. This was his first offense. Brian not only got the suspension reduced to 60 days but also had is back dated to the correct date. All my questions were answered promptly and quickly. Hiring Brian was he best thing we did.

Expertise when it matters most!

Having to deal with potentially severe penalties from the RMV can be extremely stressful. In my case, Attorney Simoneau was able to put my mind at ease and give me confidence going into a hearing and the outcome was ultimately favorable. I would highly recommend him for his expertise in ignition inte...rlock and DUI laws in MA.
