The man you need!

I met Steve Kantrovitz on the recommendation of a co-workers father. Small back history: many many years ago I had a worker's comp case with a different law firm and it was a traumatizing, horrible experience. I swore that, short of breaking my back or my neck, I would just suck it up so as to never ...go on workman's comp. NEVER have to be involved with a workers comp lawyers again. Well fast forward many years later and I had two accidents in a row at work. I did as I said I would, I dealt with all that pain and trauma. Think about that for a minute folks. The experience I had with a previous law firm left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would rather just suffer from the injury than go on workman's comp. Fast forward after THAT just under a year later and I could no longer ignore my injuries. I was terrified of having to go through that horrible experience all over again. Thankfully my coworker recommended to me this guy he knew named Steve. I quizzed my coworker for a 2 hours. I called Steven's office to make an appointment. After a return call my wife and I drove to his office. Immediately upon meeting Steve I felt most of my fears alleviated. He was not some slick talking, overbearing TV ad ambulance chasing shyster that I had come to expect. He has a great manner about him, with an easy laugh yet a serious, but not somber, demeanor when it came to getting down to business. We went over my case thoughtfully and completely. There was no rush. There was no hurry. He INSISTED that I understand there were no stupid questions. I told him about my previous experience. He knew the firm we were discussing. Without bad mouthing his peers he fully understood why I had been hesitant to come to another lawyer and explained to me how much it bothered him that because of negative experiences people like me would rather be in pain than go over their options with a legal professional. After a lengthy, thoughtful and thoroughly informative meeting I asked him about compensation for my injuries. He informed me that he believed that I was due for compensation but first, and I quote, "Chris, my first concern is getting you the care you need." Let that sink in for a minute folks because that is verbatim. Friends, you cannot fake that level of sincerity. I signed up with Steve right there and then. That was a few years ago. Fast forward to now in November of 2022 and, good to his word, he has more than gotten me the care I need. Doctor's appointments, therapy, testing, therapeutic equipment, spinal and cervical injections, multiple mri's, surgeries and so on and so forth. Things the insurance company didn't want to pay for. Things they constantly bust my chops for. Steve fought (and continues to fight) for, and got approved, every step of the way. A little while back we finally went to court. Recently we got a decision from the court and it was across the board in my favor. I'm man enough to admit that when Steve called to tell me the good news I was emotional. Years of not just pain but anxiety and constant worry finally faded away with that one phone call. I knew for the first time in a long time that I was going to be alright. That I and my family were going to be alright. That is because of Steve Kantrovitz.

Dear Chris So sorry it took this long for me to respond to your review. Your thoughtful and detailed review left me speechless. I know, that is saying a lot with my long winded self! Anyway, I am also pleased that you went into the detail you did with your other experience with the other law firm. Unfortunately all law firms do not treat their clients the same way and do not get the same results. I am so pleased you took the leap of faith to try it again with another attorney and trusted me with the handling of your case. We still have a long way to go Chris. We are now in the drivers seat, and that is where I intend to keep us. And yes Chris, you are alright, and that's where I intend to keep us. Thanks again Chris. Steve

Exceptional

Steve and Colleen are two of the most compassionate and caring people I've meet. My journey after my accident would have been without a doubt unbearable without their help. Unfortunately I was a signed a very difficult insurance adjuster that relentless ignored paying benefits, approving treatment ...in a timely manner. It was a very long and emotionally trying time, but Steve was steadfast and confident of his knowledge of the law and was able to acquire a settlement that was justified and gave me an opportunity for re-education to help me get back to work in a field that still allows me to help others. I'm very appreciative of his hard work and kindness.

Dear Marci Thanks so much for your kinds words and trusting me with the handling of your case. I am so happy you reached out to me and allowed me to assist you. The claims adjuster was awful and completely unjustified in how she treated you. I am grateful that you held tight and allowed the law to work the way it was intended. At the end of the day, justice prevailed and now you can move forward and ultimately find work with an employer who deserves you. Keep me posted and I will continue to assist you with both your vocational services and medical benefits in any way needed. Again Marci, thank you for trust. The pleasure was all mine. Steven

Lawyer for the Injured Worker...

Steve Kantrovitz is a lawyer for the injured worker. Never being injured before was scary enough, not knowing the process was even more intimidating. I say this because I had legitimate injuries confirmed by medical professionals, but in the work comp world, everything was grossly contested by the... employer, the insurance company, and even medical professionals whose special interests are to limit rising insurance premiums, as well as legal and medical expenses required to be paid by the employer. To say the system favors the employer is a understatement. (examples: I had a medical Dr state that I did not have injuries, and another say I could go back to work days after the initial injury, which went against my treating physician's strict instructions to remain out of work until cleared by a spine specialist. I even had my physical therapist say that they tend to favor the employer in workman comp cases.) Due to this cat & mouse game with the insurance company that denied my right to medical attention for my injuries and fraudulent medical professionals who fabricated the level of my injuries, I was fired for not following some of their orders and denied coverage for my doctors requested appointments. On top of trying to keep up on paying bills, two children to support, brink of eviction and the workman's comp games, my wife and I were driven to the point of extreme emotional stress. To think I was going to tackle the responsibility of this process alone, "Please DON'T." There are too many legalities and road blocks leading to an extremely long enough road for you and your family in order to protect your rights and attend to your injuries; the emotional and financial toll is crippling, to say the least. With that said, I felt it was my moral obligation to thank Steven over and over again for his undivided support, dedication, and insight; without him, from beginning to end, I would have had zero direction or outlook into what I was facing, which was a "battle." Steven was spot on with his time-frames, what we would be facing and highly proactive in regards to the legal processes. He was ALWAYS there to answer a question or as my sounding board to vent to.....Most of all he values his clients and feels their distress and pain throughout the entire process. Steven, you are a tenacious supporter of injured workers and you unselfishly demonstrated that, especially in the end, when you fought and did what was truly in the best interest of myself and my family, even over your own financial benefit. Thank you Thank you immensely (doesn't seem to be enough to just say those words) Steven Kantrovitz!

A LAWYER AND A LIFESAVER

After being seriously injured by two suspects while doing my job, the insurance company began telling me I was fine and to go back to work, days after I was released from the hospital. I needed a good attorney and was referred to Steve Kantrovitz. Not only did Steve win my case, but the insurance co.... had to apologize in open court for the false statements they made about me and the circumstances of my case. The next concern I had was weather or not Steve would help me after the case had ended. I had been told by several of my cohorts at work that once my case was over in the court room lawyers were impossible to get them to call you back.Steve has returned every single phone call that I requested. Yes thats right all of them, day, night and even weekends Steve would always return my calls and was patient and spoke to me in terms even I could understand. There was a point before my case was settled that I could not take it anymore. My family and friends were very concerned about my well being not only because the insurance co. was being unreasonable , but my injuries were not being treated by the proper professionals. I absolutely would NOT be exaggerating in saying that Steve was one of the professionals who continually encouraged and informed me in laymans terms about the court proceedings. I have and will continue to refer family and friends to STEVE Kantrovitz. Having to deal with an unusual situation as far as the circumstances of the incident that led to my injuries, I am so grateful that I was lucky enough to get an understanding and compassionate attorney, that is Steve Kantrovitz. For the last four years Steve has always been there for me, answering legal questions, encouraging my wife and me to try and remain patient, Steve is unlike any attorney I have ever dealt with, even if I had to get an attorney for another type of case, I would still go to Steve Kantrovitz and ask for an attorney he would reccomend , because I trust him completely.

Excellent Lawyer Great Guy!

After falling down the stairs at work I was told by my Dr that I needed spine surgery. When My appointments started being denied by workman's compensation I did not know where to turn to for help. I had heard Stevens add on WBZ and gave him a call. He instantly put my mind at ease and explained wh...at was going on and what to expect over the next several weeks. Because of Steve the insurance company accepted liability for my work injury.
