Jane Eden

My experience with the law firm of Eden and Rafferty was wonderful. They were recommended to me by a friend. I called and got an appointment right away. I first met with Jane Eden and was impressed with her friendliness and attention , I knew I was in good hands. Throughout my case calls I made were ...promptly answered and I was always kept well informed. In the end the outcome was more than I expected and settled quickly. Talking with Jane was like talking to a friend, she is a caring likeable person and a very competent lawyer. I will always be grateful to her.

I fell on my knee at work and tore my meniscus. Days later, I fell again at home after knee gave out and received a back injury. Workman's Comp told me they are only reliable for knee injury, that there is no way they are covering my back injury from the fall at home. My case was very complicated due... to multiple injuries received at work and home. Jane came highly recommended. Jane took charge with such ease and was able to connect my injuries to my WC case. It was a grueling 2 years for me to deal with my injuries and dwelling in self-pity and bitterness. Jane dealt with my ups and downs and saw the worst side of me. A little under 2 years and having a complicated case and with Jane's skills and talent that comes naturally to her, we settled for such a very generous and substantial amount. **I started to apply for disability during this WC case. With my crazy state of mind I was in, I tried throwing in the towel on this case too. After seeing Jane in action with my WC case and her having the power to touch anything and turns to gold, I'm back to applying. I am now so calm because I have so much confidence that Jane got this too.

I was injured on the job in 2017, I didn't seek out legal advice until I was told to return to work against my surgeons advise or I would be terminated. The day I received that letter from my employer, I called Jane Edan's office and she met with me that day. I met with Jane and Attorney David Maille.... They both were very personable, friendly, knowledgable and comforting. I received a notice in the mail on a Tuesday, requiring me to return to work the next day or I would be considered abandoning my job and would be terminated. David Maille was assigned to my case. He drafted a letter to my employer while I was in the office, explaining to my employer I was unable to return to work at this time and sent them a copy of my surgeons note stating the same. It was a very trying time for me & my family, thinking I may be terminated after 25 years working for this company as a supervisor because I was injured. In my opinion the Worker Comp process is broken, They delay medical treatments & play games with the injured employees. I can't say enough good about how well David handled my case. If I had a question or concern, it was addressed right away. The communication from their office was like nothing I've ever seen before. Phone calls were returned same day. If David was unavailable, I would receive a call from Jane or their paralegal Linda. I never felt like I was alone. David settled my case that exceeded my expentations by far. He went above and beyond making himself available to me at times that I wouldn't expect him to be available, but he was. I can't say enough possitive things about Jane & David and I would refer them without reservations to anyone in need of representation for WC. I hired Attorney Jane Eden after the lawyer I had representing me at that time was retiring and referred me to her. I was suffering from a horrible back injury that I suffered at work. So, I did my homework and found out that Attorney Eden was not only qualified to represent me, I was, in fact, extre...mely lucky to have found her. Each of her qualifications were remarkable! I soon found that many of the standards and guidelines which are followed by Massachusetts Law, Attorney Eden was on most of the committees that actually wrote those guidelines!!!
