I was injured on the job in 2017, I didn't seek out legal advice until I was told to return to work against my surgeons advise or I would be terminated. The day I received that letter from my employer, I called Jane Edan's office and she met with me that day. I met with Jane and Attorney David Maille.... They both were very personable, friendly, knowledgable and comforting. I received a notice in the mail on a Tuesday, requiring me to return to work the next day or I would be considered abandoning my job and would be terminated. David Maille was assigned to my case. He drafted a letter to my employer while I was in the office, explaining to my employer I was unable to return to work at this time and sent them a copy of my surgeons note stating the same. It was a very trying time for me & my family, thinking I may be terminated after 25 years working for this company as a supervisor because I was injured. In my opinion the Worker Comp process is broken, They delay medical treatments & play games with the injured employees. I can't say enough good about how well David handled my case. If I had a question or concern, it was addressed right away. The communication from their office was like nothing I've ever seen before. Phone calls were returned same day. If David was unavailable, I would receive a call from Jane or their paralegal Linda. I never felt like I was alone. David settled my case that exceeded my expentations by far. He went above and beyond making himself available to me at times that I wouldn't expect him to be available, but he was. I can't say enough possitive things about Jane & David and I would refer them without reservations to anyone in need of representation for WC. If you need an attorney to go up against the big WC insurance companies, David is the professional pit bull you'll need. David, Thank You for everything you have done for me and my family.
