Assault Fourth Degree & Violation of No-Contact Order Domestic Violence #AC-43874

Case Conclusion Date: 07.05.2012

Practice Area: Criminal Defense

Outcome: Dismissed

Description: Client charged with Assault Fourth Degree DV and Violation of a No-Contact Order DV. Both charges are gross misdemeanors. My investigations revealed the alleged assault was reported weeks after it happened, no independent evidence, no witnesses, no 911 call. Alleged violation of NCO involved the local phone company establishing conversation between the parties because of an unpaid phone bill on their shared account. My investigations revealed no evidence supported the allegations.
