I am a member of the American Bar Association's section on Intellectual Property, and of its Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries. I am also a member of the California and San Francisco Bar Associations. Prior to law practice, I managed business operations for companies in the internet ticketing and wine industries.
I received my B.A. in Communications from the University of California, San Diego in 1991, and my J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004, with a concentration in International Law. While at Hastings, I served as Notes Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review, President of the Hastings Jewish Law Students Association, and Vice Justice of the Temple Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. I am also the author of "Dastar Through European Eyes: Effects of the Public Domain on Transatlantic Trade," 12 UCLA Ent. L. Rev. 93 (2005), and more recently "Copyright's Long and Winding Road," 31 Ent. & Sports Lawyer 3 (Fall 2014). I am fluent in Hebrew.
