Kristy Blackwell was able to meet with us on a moments notice and she worked well with us. She listened to our needs and was able to give us advice on what we should do along the way. We were very impressed by her knowledge and professionalism.

When I was looking for a lawyer to help with the step parent adoption, I spoke to several lawyers and then met Kristy. I knew instantly that she was the right person to help me. While I was talking to her, she was very understanding, honest and took the time to explain everything to me. Since my husband was not with me when I met her, she wrote down the entire process of how the termination of my ex’s parental rights and then the step-parent adoption worked. I was able to take that back and explain everything in detail to my husband. Oh, and when I talk about her being honest, let me give you an example… Since I didn’t know my ex-husbands location, one lawyer told me to take out and ad in the paper and when he doesn’t respond then we can move forward from there. When I asked Kristy about that she said that we wouldn’t be doing that. We used a PI to find him and serve him the right way.
So how was the Price? Well, I have to say that she was completely affordable. I was actually surprised that it was. When I spoke to several attorneys, their prices were anywhere between $5500.00- $ 8000.00 for the services I needed. Kristy's prices didn't even come close to the $5500 and that was from start to finish.

Bottom Line… When you need an attorney who is honest, understanding, truthful and hardworking, Kristy Blackwell is who you want to see. My family and I are very grateful for the hard work she put into our case and because of her, our family is complete. Thanks Kristy !!

Kristy helped us in the finalization process of our adoption. We were facing a time crunch to get our adoption finalized in court before the year was over. Kristy was able to asked for an expedited request to finalize which we were granted! She took care of everything while at the same time keeping us informed each step of the way. She was great! Dependable, knowledgeable, timely and very professional. If we were to adopt again we would definitely utilize her services.

I was first advised to go to Kristy by my mother, who had said she had a good feeling about this particular lawyer. Having tried to contact a few lawyers in the past hadn't really panned out. They didn't take the time of day to even return a call.

But, upon meeting Kristy, I was quite pleased with the sense of ease she had about her. She had a plan right from the start(something I find to be a good thing). After much hardship with my ex in the custody issue over my daughter, it was said and done...and I owe this to Kristy. She gets the job done...and she does so effectively.

I was kept up to date on happenings within the case, as well as reassured at the points that things became difficult, but never did she lose that sense of confidence that showed through to the very end.

I'd honestly recommend her to anyone. Family cases are always hard to deal with, but when you have someone who takes a matter as if it were her own, it gets that much easier.

I hired Kristy to represent me in a child support case. I had never needed a lawyer before and really didn't know how to go about hiring one. I had several consultations scheduled with different lawyers. Kristy was my first consultation and during our initial visit, I decided that I need look no further. I got a good feeling from her right from the start. She seemed to have a plan almost immediately and explained things to me in a way that I could understand. She was very good about answering questions, returning calls and emails. Her assistant Jane is an amazing person as well and very knowledgable.
