Jim Bradshaw has practiced law since 1982. He is one of the founding members of Brown, Bradshaw and Moffat. His practice includes all types of litigation, including white collar and other criminal matters, civil litigation, criminal appeals, and professional licensing and disciplinary matters. Jim graduated as a William H. Leary Scholar from the University of Utah College of Law. The first eight years of his legal career were spent working as a lawyer in the trenches at the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association before moving on to form Brown, Bradshaw and Moffat.
He is a member of the Utah State Bar and is licensed to practice before all Utah state and federal courts and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell. Jim has focused his practice in the area of white collar criminal defense; however, he continues to be involved in a wide variety of all types of civil and criminal litigation.
Jim was elected Chairman of the Criminal Law Section of the Utah State Bar and currently serves as Chairman of the Utah State Indigent Defense Board. He is a founding member of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Jim is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been selected by his professional peers for inclusion in "The Best Lawyers in America." He was designated by Utah Business Magazine as one of the top 100 lawyers in Utah and has appeared in every listing of "Utah's Legal Elite."
