She was assigned as a CFI to my custody case. CFI stands for "Child and Family Investigator". However, there is not one intuitive investigating fiber in her body. Her report reads more like a fiction novel filled completely with hearsay and her "expert" opinion, which, of course, is based solely on the hearsay. All she does is interview people and then puts what they say verbatim into her report and submits it as evidence. Unfortunately, she weights her favor and opinion heavily to the mother's side. If there were an equal number and level of concerns raised by each side, she virtually ignores father's concerns and rewards mother. In addition, she does not look for proof to substantiate any allegation, just takes people at their word. If she is assigned or recommended to your case, fight to have her removed, immediately!

This attorney was an arbitrator for our parental decision making issue. She incredibly made her decision WITHOUT even speaking to me. However she did have proven ex-parte communication with my ex. I cant tell you how terrible it feels to have someone make such an important decision like this and to feel like I had no imput in it whatsoever.
