Description: My Client was charged with Family Violence Assault after an argument with his mother at home escalated in scope and intensity. My Client's step-father called 9-1-1, the police arrived, and my Client went to Juvenile Detention. Upon further review and investigation, it appeared that my Client -- while certainly guilty of a bad attitude and poor judgment, and less than stellar impulse control -- was likely not guilty of the assault charge. The DA offered a conditional dismissal, and my Client accepted the State's offer. His case was dismissed (Non-suited in Juvenile terms), and he is now eligible for a complete sealing of his juvenile record.
