About Me

I was born in Dallas and graduated from First Baptist Academy in downtown Dallas.  I left the great state of Texas to attend Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where I studied Psychology and Spanish; I also coached for the equestrian team, played rugby, and planned events.

After graduation in 2006, I moved to San Diego, California, where I studied at the University of San Diego School of Law.  While in law school I volunteered at the Tax Clinic, the Homeless Shelter Legal Clinic, the Children's Clinic, and the general Legal Clinic at school.  I also worked in felony arraignment for the San Diego Public Defender's Office and mediated at the San Diego Small Claims Court.  In the spring of 2009, I became a National Finalist in the American Bar Association Negotiation Tournament, finishing in the top 20.  I graduated in May of 2009, moved back to Texas, and passed the bar in November.

In February 2010, I was hired by Level 2 Review in Tyler, Texas, to work on discovery.  I worked on many cases for Fortune 50 companies on issues from litigation to mergers and FTC compliance investigations.  I became a Lead Associate where I continued to work on discovery and create privilege logs and recommendations to counsel and began to manage projects.

After I left Level 2 Review, I returned to Dallas and accepted a position with Withers & Withers, P.C.  In 2014, I struck out on my own and started my own family law and estate planning practice.

I offer services in all areas of family law (divorce, custody, child support, modifications, paternity, adoptions, and name changes).  I also work with clients to get their final affairs in order.  Finally, I work with same sex couples to ensure that they have protected their loved ones, as the State of Texas does not recognize same-sex marriage.
