Miriam Cooper was very good with my case, kept me very informed and overall a great judicial (if possible) experience. She was very fast to send me documents and keep me apprised of the situation. Her office is also very digital in the fact that they would communicate with me electronically instead of snail mail. She was very responsive to all aspects of my case. I would highly recommend Miriam and her new attorney Vicky as well. If you need an attorney in the Barrington area I would give Miriam Cooper a call, she gave me a free consultation prior to me providing a small retainer.
I`M WRITING THIS NOTE TO INFORM PEOPLE HOW DELIGENT AND CARING , MIMIARM COOPER IS WITH CLIENTS. SHE IS THOUGHTFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND CONSIDERATE . SHE IS HANDLING MY SEPERATION WITH INTELLIGENCE AND KNOWLEDGE. I`M VERY GRATEFUL FOR HER SERVICE AND COMPASSION.
I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Miriam Cooper! Divorce and child custody can be emotionally draining. However Ms. Cooper made the experience easier to handle. Her compassion towards me, her knowledge of the law, and the way she stood up for what I wanted were the perfect combination.
This attorney has turned a simple divorce in to a two year nightmare!
After 2 years with her I still did not have an order for visitation of any type, nor did she arrange for mediation until after 2 years. It should not take 2 years to arrange a 4-way settlement conference either. Getting her to respond to emails and phone calls is nearly impossible. Part of the reason for this is due to most of her time being dedicated to real estate law. She always seemed to be at a closing, or just not in the mood to talk. Any new developments, or important dates were always relayed through my soon-to-be ex wife. I didn't even find out that Miriam was going to withdraw from my case until my soon-to-be told me. When I called Miriam, she said "yeah, you'll be getting something in the mail soon".
What kind of attorney does this? The kind that should stick to real estate law, that's what kind...
I have a new attorney who did more in his first week than she did in her two years on this case.
Now my new attorney has told me that he heard from my soon-to-be-ex's attorney that Miriam will be sending me a new bill. This is how she works. She doesn't send me a bill, she tells my soon-to-be-ex's attorney. I can't wait to see this.
