Description:On April 17, 2004, Donnie Turner's drunken neighbor came to his back yard, pointed a handgun at him and fired. The bullet shot through his chest, puncturing his lung. Donnie spent three weeks in intensive care. Greg Bowes brought suit against the shooter, and ultimately persuaded a jury to award a judgment that included punitive damages. Greg also brought suit against the man who sold the handgun to the shooter, a known drunkard, and eventually negotiated a settlement of that claim.
