Lisa was very professional, courteous, and detail oriented from our first consultation all the way to the final meeting of the creditors. There were a few extras in my case that could have been extra charges and may well have been at another law firm. Lisa anticipated the possibility of these and provided the extra service as a courtesy. I have bankruptcy attorneys in my family from another state and consulted with them prior to hiring Lisa. Lisa hit every mark I was told to look for when seeking an attorney.
In federal court I watched as other attorneys (who were not so detail oriented) made errors in front of the trusty. I also witnessed first hand the consequences of those who attempted to file without an attorney. When our case came up, we were in and out quickly and without consequence. Lisa's fees are better than fair for the incredible service she provides. I strongly recommend Lisa of McCue Law to anyone who is seeking a bankruptcy attorney.
Lisa helped me during a very difficult situation with a debt collector. She was steadfast and diligent with her support. She was able to find a resolution to my case and kept me informed of everything as it progressed. I'm very grateful for her work and her knowledge in this area. I was quite pleased with her handling of the case and her resolve in helping me out of a difficult situation.
Wow Lisa McCrue is probably one of the most honest and caring lawyer I have ever met! I went in because I needed quite a few complex questions answered that were in her field of expertise. However, I knew I would not need her paid service after she answered my question. So I called her secretary and asked them if I can pay Lisa an hourly consultation fee to answer my questions. The secretary insisted that the first hour of her time was free no matter what. So I made an appointment for the free consultation.
When I met Lisa the first thing I mentioned to her was that I just needed some questions answered and would not need her paid services. I offered to pay her again for her time but she politely declined and told me that she would be very happy to answer my questions. She took her time and answered all my questions in great detail even though she knew she wasn’t getting paid a cent! How many lawyers these days do you know that will do that???
I was so impressed that when we were finished I offered to pay her again, I offered her $150 for just 20 minutes of her time. This time I pushed and insisted that she take the money. She again very politely refused with a smile and asked me to just refer her to people I know. Amazing lawyer here people!! If you ever need help in the areas she covers don’t go anywhere else!
My wife and I had tried to work with our mortgage company to arrange a short sale. We had been tentatively approved but then the mortgage company became unresponsive. We did not want to file bankruptcy but my one time good credit was severely downgraded after months of no response from the mortgage company and we feared something else was going on. After speaking with Lisa and Chris McCue at McCue Law we decided bankruptcy was the best choice.
Chris and Lisa and their staff helped us right along through the process. The McCue are really terrific advocates for consumers. They are extremely thorough and protective of their clients. Due to their thoroughness our court appearance was extremely short compared to other litigants whose lawyers did not have their information together. We were asked a couple of questions by the judge and we were finished within 5 minutes of the beginning our hearing.
My family and I would definitely use the McCue law firm again. If you want a fantastic pair of lawyers who are absolutely thorough, truthful with their advice and protective of their clients; this is the firm for you. They really fight for their clients. Plus, their fees are extremely reasonable, they feel the client has already been through enough and don’t need to pay exorbitant costs.
As a note, a month after our case hearing, we received foreclose papers. The mortgage company had been planning this the whole time and had no intention of working with us on the short sale.
I walked in her office for the first time so worried, and I felt so helpless. I interviewed with at least 10 lawyers. They all made me feel like I was just a case number. Lisa and her friendly staff made me feel so at ease like family. I felt as if they removed my burdens from me and took charge right away. Each and every time I leave their office I feel at peace. They are extremely efficient. Before the hearing they made sure to review every detail from directions to parking. When I went for my hearing the cases before me, the judge asked every attorney for paper work they didn't summit upon the hearing. Not the McCues they had everything complete!!! Thanks again family !!!!!
Dear Lisa and Christian,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you both for the terrific job you did with our bankruptcy.
When our business failed, my wife and I were dealing with a financial mess. You went above and beyond to create a solution for us. Even though we had a complex situation dealing with multiple properties, accounts, and creditors, you charged us a reasonable fee, managed huge amounts of complex paperwork, answered all our questions, and even helped us to deal with this situation emotionally. You helped with all the creditors and the phone calls. And your office staff is courteous and helpful as well.
I guess for you this is business as usual, but I was very impressed. Thank you again for everything. And if you ever have a potential client who is trying to decide between hiring your law firm or a different one, feel free to use me as a reference. I will gladly talk to them about everything you did for us and your outstanding integrity!
Four attorneys advised that Chapter 13 was my only option. From our initial meeting, Lisa confidently maintained that my situation was clearly a Chapter 7. By including the mortgage payment of my home (in foreclosure) in the Means test, I did qualify for a Chapter 7 filing, and recently received a Discharge of Debtors. I am incredibly grateful to The McCue Law Firm for being bold enough and smart enough to accomplish the "impossible"! I would highly recommend this lawyer to anyone considering filing bankruptcy.
