also known as MASTERS LAW
My fundamental life interests have always revolved around a strong sense of social justice. I was born in Plainfield, New Jersey and educated by the public school system (K-12). While in high school, I was honored to be elected student counsel president.
My college education was obtained at Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut, where I proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts double majoring in Sociology and History. I played on the varsity soccer team, staffed student-faculty academic committees, supervised student employment at the student union center, and wrote a sports column for the college newspaper ("The Pundit").
After college graduation, I relocated to Southern California to attend faith-based Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu. At Pepperdine, lessons were taught at the intersection of faith and law. I served as Honor Board Chairman at Pepperdine Law, and put myself through law school working full-time on the night shift at Saint John's Hospital ER in Santa Monica, California.
After receiving my doctorate in jurisprudence, I worked as a corporate executive heading up the claims and risk management departments of healthcare corporations, risk retention hospital groups, and traditional professional liability insurance providers. I personally negotiated and also supervised equitable resolutions to high exposure medical malpractice pre-suit claims and lawsuits in California and Florida. It was very satisfying to bring financial security and needed closure to families struggling with the residual damages brought on by instances of medical malpractice.
A strong desire to establish a platform where EVERY CLIENT MATTERS led me to found MASTERS LAW in 2006. Based out of the 1900 Building in historic downtown Melbourne, my law practice is focused on clients in need of representation in matters of criminal defense, juvenile law (delinquency & dependency/DCF) and family law throughout Florida, with a primary footprint in Brevard County & Indian River Counties.
Community engagement is very importance at MASTERS LAW, and includes volunteering at church, playing in the United Way lawyers versus doctors softball games at Dodgertown, and coaching a successful Little League baseball team (ages 10-12). I proudly serve as Board President and Pro Bono Legal Consultant for COMMUNITY of HOPE - a Brevard County based 501(c) non-profit organization dedicated to crushing the cycle of homelessness by helping transition unhoused families into stable affordable housing with dignity, compassion and mentorship. From 2011 to 2022, I authored a monthly general legal advice column for the print and on-line newspaper ("The Barefoot Tattler") serving Barefoot Bay and the surrounding community of Micco.
Serving God, loving my family, helping others, and successfully representing the legal interests of my clients brings me great satisfaction and remains my life's mission. Please let me help you - CALL NOW !!!

Mr. Masters helped my 14 year old daughter when she got a moving violation driving her golf cart in Viera, FL. Points on her future license would have delayed her getting her driver’s license and it would have increased our insurance considerably. Mr. Masters was able to plea it down to where we paid...

I lived in a gated mobile home park that rented the lot that my home was on. The park was responsible for watering the lots. The park stopped watering the lots claiming they were making repairs to the system. This went on for over two years with the HOA monthly news letter saying it would be compl...
A lawyer's duty to keep client confidences has few exceptions, and in an abundance of caution I do not feel at liberty to respond to George's comments in a point by point fashion in this forum. Suffice it to say that I do not believe that George's post presents a fair and accurate picture of the transpired events. I remain very proud of my track record of client satisfaction and favorable results, and do cherish opportunities to raise funds for local charities through participation in activities organized by county bar associations.
