As a recently retired executive I was extremely concerned about a DUI arrest I had in Georgia. I found Richard Lawson via the internet and what a fortunate stroke of good luck. Mine was a complicated case that Richard handled with confidence and expertise. The charges were dropped to a reckless driving fine and I suffered no loss of driving privileges. I can not recommend Richard high enough. I my opinion it would be foolish to go anywhere else for representation.
Mr. Lawson responded to my call with an hour of sending him an email requesting his services. He took the time to discuss my case with me and point me in the right direction. I highly recommend his law firm.
My. Lawson was able to get my DUI reduced to reckless driving and my drivers license was returned.
I highly recommend Mr. Lawson.
Richard was recommended by my local attorney for a DUI case in North Georgia. He was informative of my options but realistic as I blew over a 2.2. We hoped to reduce the DUI to a Reckless Driving but it was a long shot given the breathalyzer results. I've never been in trouble with "the law" and hoped that would help my case. Upon meeting Richard the day of court I noticed he knew most of the other attorneys and the court's prosecutor. After a quick personal interview and review of the police report, he quickly formulated plan and, using his relationships and negotiating skills, worked out the best possible outcome. The judge reduced the DUI to Reckless Driving, I got my license back and paid the minimal fine. Excellent job Richard!
Mr. Lawson obtained the best possible result from a very difficult DUI case. He was able to work with the DA's office to come up with a plea to keep me employed and with my family and I would recommend his services to anyone. Not only did he help me during the case, but has been quick to respond to questions and/or issues after the case was resolved. A++
I contacted Mr. Lawson after being arrested on a first offense DUI and failure to maintain lane charges. Richard quickly returned my call and explained the charges and eased my fears. Believe me, I was terrified of the consequences of my charges.
Over the next few months I followed his expert advice and, if I had questions, I only needed to call his office and I had an answer right away.
When my court date arrived Mr. Lawson had my DUI reduced to reckless driving and I am able to keep my license without restrictions!
I have no doubt this positive outcome is the result of hiring the number one DUI attorney in GA!
I Just had an absolutely phenomenal outcome with my DUI charge, thanks to Mr. Lawson. I hired Richard specifically to get my charges reduced and he did it! Losing my license, even for a short period, would have been devastating to my career. I could not have rationally expected any better result than reducing my charges to Reckless Driving, which is exactly what he was able to do. He was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns, even through the holidays, and advised me on a number of preemptive steps to take that undoubtedly helped create such a favorable result and have also made the ultimate penalties much more tolerable. I would hire Richard again 100 out of 100 times (although there will definitely not be another...).
I was charged with speeding and DUI under 21 in a small Georgia town with a tough judge. I called Richard Lawson, and he provided a thorough explanation of the process and spent time analyzing my case. In the time between our initial contact and my court date, he was always available to answer questions and to give advice. The day I was to appear in court, Mr. Lawson met me at the courthouse and informed me that I would likely be able to have my charges reduced, because I was a first-time offender. He was able to have my charges dismissed under the condition that I complete a pretrial diversion program. I have since completed the program and begun the record restriction process, which is a major relief, being that a criminal record can smudge a person's reputation. Richard Lawson's professionalism and knowledge were pivotal in my case, and I am very grateful for his assistance.
Complete professional conduct and relationship with me the entire process. Always had answers for ever question I could think of and could give me references that I could use for myself to look up. Conducted the most in depth research and supported my case with every appropriate angle. Mr. Lawson and his firm go well beyond to surpass every expectation. Thank you Mr. Lawson for the tremendous work and incredible dedication.
Upon being charged with my second DUI and receceiving less than optimistic projections for my case from a number of attorneys consulted with initially, I thought I was facing losing everything, including my career in the medical field. It was not until I consulted Mr. R. Lawson that I felt the slightest hope for my case considering the charges brought against me. Not only did R. Lawson treat me with with respect and convey a genuine sense of interest and empathy from the start, but he was accessible, prompt, and thorough - traits that appear to be conspicuously absent in many, if not most, attorneys today. Mr. Lawson walked me through each step of this exceedingly intimidating process, keeping an open line of communication and maintaining exemplary customer service skills throughout the duration of the proceedings. Mr. Lawson was able to negotiate my 2nd DUI/Failure to Maintain Lanes/Reckless Driving charges down to a simple Reckless Driving charge, without ever having to go to trial. From the bottom of my heart, I urge any individual in a situation similar, (or dissimilar) to mine involving a DUI charge, to consider that the cost of being represented by an outstanding attorney such as this is but a modicum of the devastating and lifelong cost of being convicted of a DUI...and to contact Richard Lawson for representation.
