Our son was facing 15 years of prison time. Lawrence Zimmerman worked very hard to keep him out of prison, and did! There were many times when it was necessary for us to contact Lawrence after office hours and he always answered the phone or quickly returned our calls. He was on a trip to Florida during one incident and made several calls to us, in addition to communicating via email while traveling. The first time we had to contact Lawrence after office hours was on a weekend. Not only did he call us back in a timely manner, but when we tried to apologize for disturbing him at home, he told us not to worry about it because he considers his clients family!

Mr. Zimmerman was great with his communication with me. I have had other attorneys in the past, always wondering what was happening with my case but Mr. Zimmerman was always keeping me informed as to what was happening. I was convicted of Child Molestation for exposing myself to a 15 year old female, and sentenced to 10 do 1. I served my 9 years of probation without incident. During my probation, some stipulations like the registry requirements changed. I did do everything I was supposed to do as far as probation went, but I was helpless with the registration changes. This is long over due, but well deserved, thank you so much Lawrence. I was arrested for a DUI in Cobb County about 9 months ago and my blood alcohol content was a .09. I had called two previous lawyers before I chose to go with Lawrence. The biggest thing for me when hiring someone was how comfortable do I feel with this person, how do they carry themselves when describing what they can do, do I feel confident that they are here for me and that I am not simply money signs to them. Like the title says he is an excellent lawyer and has helped me with multiple cases greatly. Ive used him for several different types of cases. Criminal defense, dui, probation. I hired Lawrence Zimmerman based on a referral from a friend who had used him and said he was the real deal. He was very informative on all subject matter of my charges (DUI) and all aspects of court procedures. He was always prepared, on time and a positive person throughout the whole ordeal. Almost a year ago, I was charged with a felony (possession of illicit drugs) and my case was dismissed at the bond hearing. A year and a half later, when I was having a background check done for employment, I learned that the case had been reopened and that I had missed a court date (without my knowledge) and therefore was convicted of this crime. The biggest issue I had with the entire situation was that I was never in possession of any illegal substance, no evidence was ever brought forth, and the police department pulled me over for no apparent reason and searched my car without my permission. With Lawrence's help, this case was dropped in a matter of a month and a half (and would have been even sooner if the court would've allowed us to have the case heard sooner) and I was allowed to continue on my career path unobstructed. Not only was he able to get the case dropped, and my good name cleared, but the charge will also be expunged from my record forever, meaning I will not ever have to explain this ridiculous situation ever again.

To all those looking for some real feedback on this Attn. A year ago I was involved in something stupid. Almost a wrong place at the wrong time. I guess you really learn from these things. The first part was, I opted for a court appointed council. Bad Idea. I had no real understanding of the charges I was facing. Ok, this is a big deal because, you can defend yourself yet alone ask someone else to defend you. It took a friends attn, to tell me that I was looking at some serious time. Once I heard this from someone who had no interest in my future, I started to do my own research. I started looking at any place I could for a good council. I made a list of about 10. Mr. Zimmerman was on that list. After setting up appointments with all and discussing with them my case. I realized how serious the allegations really were. I narrowed my choices down to two. My choice was based on what I could research about these two, and how clear they were to explain to me what I really am facing. Mr. Zimmerman was very prompt in responding, he had a very busy schedule, but made sure that I was completely clear as to what he was trying to say. It was for those reasons I hired Mr. Z.
Mr.Z. Offered me brilliant advice, and did a very great job explaining to me what was going on. From legal questions, to charges, and breaking down those long verbose sentences that were just trying to say something simple. See the problem with the legal system is they try to use big words in small sentences to say very broad statements. Mr.Z was able to explain to me exactly what I needed to know boiled down from a really legal sentence to plain english that related to me. So if the judge said some big crazy sentence, Mr.Z would say basically he says you had knowledge of what was going on. See plain english means I can understand and defend myself to him. He in turn would defend me to the court. It was this characteristic of his which I believe that made him a great suit for me.
