Biography
I am a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Maryland and practice Criminal Defense law in the Federal and State Courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia. I am a very proud graduate of the University of Maryland and University of Baltimore Law School. I have been honored in 2009 to serve as Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association Criminal Law Section Council and to previously have served as President of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney Association. I am also serving my fourth 4 year term as the Criminal Defense representative on the Maryland State Commission on Criminal Sentencing Policy appointed by Governor Hogan. (). In nearly 35 years of practice now, I have handled a wide range of different types of cases including approximately 50 homicides cases, complex Federal drug and white collar type cases, and nearly every other type of criminal and traffic case. I am also widely known as an expert in asset forfeiture matters.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 children, 2 son-in laws and 2 beautiful grand babies, and competing in many different sports. I enjoy golf. biking and 10K road races. I also enjoy attending Washington Capitals hockey, University of Maryland football and basketball games.

Mr.GET THE JOB DONE
Mr Finci is very highly regarded I had 2gun charges pending one in md and 1 in the district both case were in no bond status Mr . Finci was able to get me home as a convicted felon and successfully got my case resolved without me going to jail

He is honest and he kept me out of JAIL
Richard Finci was the first criminal lawyer that I have ever had to hire. I was facing between 5 and 30 years with all of my charges.
