Description:Ms. Thames was accused of First Degree Reckless Endangerment, a felony, and Obstructing Government Administration. Facing years in prison, Ms. Thames refused to accept the Prosecutors offers and proceeded to trial in an attempt to clear her name. It was alleged that at first Ms. Thames refused to allow the Police into her home to treat her brother whom had been shot moments earlier. It was further alleged that after allowing the Police entry to her home, she attempted to block a Police Sergeant from rendering aid to her wounded brother, thereby causing a grave risk of death to him. After a trial which lasted over two weeks, Ms. Thames was found not guilty of all charges.
