I highly recommend Gregg Wisotsky. Upon meeting Gregg, I knew he was the lawyer for me. Gregg was very professional and diligently worked on my case. He took his time with me which earned my trust and confidence. If you have legal trouble, Gregg is the lawyer to hire.
Immediately upon meeting Gregg I knew I wouldn't find a better lawyer for me. Right away he made me feel comfortable and that it wasn't just about doing his job. I can tell that he really cared about me and my well being beyond the legal aspect. Throughout the process he kept me informed and was always there for me personally when I had questions to ask. He kept my expectations realistic but I remained confident that no one else would fight harder for me and ultimately achieve the best possible outcome. In the end, much to my surprise and I believe even his own he was able to get a complete dismissal of the case which was way beyond any possibility I could have imagined. This was not due to some technicality or a mistake and I believe no other lawyer could have talked and negotiated this best case scenario for me. This decision could be life changing and it would be a mistake for you to choose any other lawyer than Gregg. I can truely say that without Gregg my future would not be as promising and have the potential opportunities that lay ahead in my life. I will forever be greatful
Mr Wisotsky was very responsive from the first call back on a Sunday to making an appointment and keeping my daughter and me informed.
I highly recommend using him and would use him again if need be.
I have known "Mugsy" for almost 25 years. We connected on several levels, specifically sports and our new found love of the law. We were from opposite ends of the law, i was in law enforcement putting people in jail, Mugsy very successfully and aggresively defended them. Mugsy comes into any situation with the confidence and unflinching tenacity to win every case. I have worked with some of the most famous defense lawyers in this country on a myriad of different cases and if i unfortunately needed counsel my first call will be Mugsy. Not just because he is my friend but i truly believe his legal skills are in the same league as any of the "big boys" from firms in NYC. In the words of a famous TV lawyer "you better call Mugsy"!
Gregg helped me out in a Kafkaesque case where I was wrongly accused of a crime. No one in the Wayne, NJ legal system bothered to check the facts until Gregg came in and stopped the nonsense. As the case dragged on, Gregg did more than a fair share of work and he was worth every penny I paid him. He also was very good at dealing with my sometimes panicky messages and fought for the best outcome for me, as opposed to maximizing his bill.
As a recent client, I express my sincere appreciation for Gregg Wisotsky’s representation.
My case was rather complex in that I was involved in an automobile accident and based on honest responses, the police had filed for: a warrant to draw my blood while in the hospital ER and a ‘Dyal subpoena’ to obtain my hospital records; both in order to determine my blood alcohol concentration (BAC).
After having extensively reviewed the Internet for blood alcohol cases, I quickly understood should either test come back with a positive result the chances of being prosecuted to the extent of the law, which is rather rigid and non-negotiable, are almost 100% in favor of the State. Having never appeared in court for any reason, I was totally naïve about the aggressiveness and the extent the state would go to in gathering evidence and prosecution of an individual based on suspicion. In my opinion, right or wrong, I felt as if the local police and the prosecutor primarily were primarily concerned in determining if there was enough evidence to convict of a targeted activity (DUI arrest and prosecution), and did not consider it their responsibility to research the validity of the evidence to determine potential innocence prior to prosecution. After this experience I’m a little less naive.
It quickly became apparent to me that if I hoped to win a case or minimize my sentencing, I would need someone who understood the laws regarding drawn blood BAC and someone whose professional opinion I could respect should he tell me ‘let’s lose gracefully’ if need be.
What I am familiar with is how to find capable resources. After doing my research online about applicable law and cases that had positive and negative outcomes, etc…. I interviewed several attorneys and was not satisfied. I received responses, which lead me to believe they were out of touch with current laws, did not understand the legal vehicles available to the prosecutor and the rigidity of the laws surrounding BAC. I had lawyers telling me I should plead guilty and rely on the leniency of the judge before they reviewed all the facts.
I came upon Gregg Wisotsky’s name through Avvo and after having received the response back from the police that I was being charged, sat down with Gregg in his office to discuss the facts regarding my case. Gregg is very in-tune with the laws, has a good presence of character, clearly understood and intelligently responded to my position. I subsequently used Gregg’s services and found him to be outstanding, responsive, and when he is not directly available, has a very competent staff who understand the case being worked on, and can either answer questions directly or relay the information to Gregg and receive a prompt reply.
My confidence in Gregg’s recommendation to pursue or not pursue avenues such as hiring a professional to analyze the hospital results and provide witness, etc… were spot-on. Had Gregg told me that I should just ‘plead guilty’ and take my lumps, my confidence in his judgment would have told me to do it.
Fact of my case is that Gregg competently defended my position, efficiently used his internal resources, hired effective external resources, provided a clearly defined and professionally written arguments, and held necessary meetings with the judge and prosecutor prior to going to trial. The final result of Gregg’s representation was the dismissal of the charges against me.
Had I not had Gregg’s expert representation, I am sure the outcome of my case would have been very different.
Don’t assume that just because there is evidence against you, that you can’t dispute its voracity. Don’t assume that if an attorney says he’s represented clients in DUI cases that he’s competent. Don’t try to do it on your own.
Find good representation and someone you can trust to give you the best advice. I highly recommend Gregg Wisotsky.
My personal injury case was complicated on several levels. Despite the challenges, Gregg took my case head on and did a superb job! Gregg and his assistant Laura are an amazing team. They worked tirelessly as my advocate and always put my mind and concerns at ease.
Gregg represents everything I was looking for in an attorney. He is honest, straightforward and very passionate about what he does. At the same time, he is considerate, warmhearted and caring. He truly listens and is completely devoted to his clients. His knowledge, experience and hard work were key in settling my case successfully.
Laura is warm, kindhearted and extremely patient. She was never too busy to answer a question, help me navigate the healthcare system, explain an unfamiliar legal term, or just provide a sympathetic ear.
When I needed someone to go to "battle" for me, Gregg was there. He believed in me, he fought for me and I couldn't be more grateful.
If I were to sum up Gregg Wisotsky's personality in one word, it would be passionate. He first met with me on a weekend and assured me he and his staff would be there every step of the way. He represented me in Somerset County for a criminal defense case. Gregg impressed both me and the judge in the way he presented the case which led to a less than anticipated sentence. His staff was kind, sincere and compassionate. I would highly recommend hiring Gregg for his legal expertise.
I decided to write this review on Mr. Wisotsky to show and share my enormous gratitude to this great man and professional with other people out there that need legal help. Couple of months ago I found my self in a real legal mess and nightmare. I felt lost ,scared and hopeless. Contacting Mr. Wisotsky was the best decision I made in a very long time. First sign that I made a good decision was when I contacted initially the office, Mr. Wisotsky's assistant Coleen spoke with me with a lot of care, patience and respect. That alone told me that a man that chooses his co-workers with care must be caring himself, and that's a rare quality nowadays. His response was almost immediate. Everything afterwords was incredible. I was preparing myself for some kind of resolution of my case with penalty but the outcome that Mr. Wisotsky made happen was the one that I was not even dreaming of... He got a total dismissal of my case. I still think I'm dreaming.. He is the most professional, resourceful, skillful and at the same time trustworthy and humane lawyer I have dealt with and trust me I had bad experiences before. So if you need someone like that STOP looking you've got your man...
I went to Gregg with a DUI case. He was the first lawyer I consulted. He answered all my questions with detailed answers. He was very honest and upfront about his fees for the hearings and trial (which was not the case with the other lawyers I saw).
During the entire course of the hearings and trial, I could reach him whenever I wanted (weekends too). He (also his assistants) always made sure I knew exactly what was going on.
My case was tricky and I was going in with very little hope of a positive outcome. Gregg was very knowledgeable about the topic, and was very professional (the judge said so too at the end of my trial).
It did turn out well for me but even if it hadn't I still would have recommended him.
