About Me


Attorney Mark Dumas is an experienced trial lawyer who has litigated complex cases involving labor and employment law, trade secrets, intellectual property, and catastrophic personal injuries. As part of this practice, Mark frequently appears before Connecticut’s state and federal courts on behalf of clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to individuals.


Attorney Dumas has been featured on the front page of the New York Times Metro Region Section and the New York Law Journal for his appellate work and he has written numerous articles on civil litigation and employment law. Prior to entering private practice, Mark was an in-house intellectual property attorney for General Electric Company, but left GE to gain more courtroom experience.


Mark is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and National Transportation Safety Board Bar Association. Mark is also chair of the Connecticut Chapter of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Alumni Association and is a member of the association’s Executive Committee.
