Can I sue my ex boyfriend for sleeping with prostitutes and me at the same time ?
I just found out that my boyfriend of 3 years has been sleeping with numerous prostitutes at the same time as with me. I have been an emotional mess for almost a year wondering why his cell phone was always hiding. He has been verbally aggressive and cruel as he projected his wrong doings onto my kids and I. I’m currently waiting for STD’s test results, and hoping to be clean. I started seeing a therapist because he told me there was something wrong with me. Any advice ?...
As someone else stated, does this guy have significant assets that you could attach a judgment to? If not, then I suggest if your STD tests come back positive then you can make a criminal complaint and let the authorities handle it moving forward. They would have to prove that he knew he had the STD(s) and transmitted them to you without informing you of said STD(s). The laws require knowledge, therefore if that cannot be proven then you are out of luck and I suggest just staying far away from this guy.

Advice? Run for the hills and don't look back. At least you do not have to pay to divorce this scoundrel..

I believe that you may have a case, but as always you will need to consult with a personal injury attorney to know what your rights are.
Generally, it is considered a form of battery if a person fails to disclose that they have an STD, and they continue to have a romantic relationship with their partner. The key here is consent, which they failed to get.
