Legal advice on Personal injury

Hello Avvo Community, I recently experienced a concerning incident and am seeking advice on potential legal actions. While in the restroom of one of the main large Retailers, I leaned against the sink to address an issue with my eye. To my shock, the sink, seemingly held up by a single metal bracket, suddenly fell, grazing my leg and hitting my knee and foot. I weigh around 150 lbs and was merely leaning on the sink, not applying excessive force. The incident has left my foot swollen, and I'm experiencing pain in several toes. I plan to see my doctor in the morning to assess any injuries. This raises serious safety concerns, and I'm unsure how to proceed. I made a report immediately following the incident with the Store manager at location as well as with the Corporate Customer Service phone line. Any advice or insights from the community, especially regarding potential legal actions, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

My mother was injured in a car accident? The insurance company has proposed a settlement. She will need to sign a release for the insurance company which makes sense. Her attorney wants her to sign a Hold Harmless agreement for him and his firm? This doesn't seem right to me. Is this normal? Hold Harmless agreement would also give firm permission to destroy all documents.

Car broke down in the middle of a dollar tree parking lot. I had to wait 3 hours in the cold for a ride from the company. I lost money, time and I was freezing. The problem w the car was their fault and the car could've turned off at any time.

I was a Hobby Lobby today at about 630 when my toddler took off and got on the rolling ladder they had put he went up to the 7th step. I was trying to grab him, but he fell off the side rail to the right he fell on his back, hit his head and all his back. He’s complaining about back pain. He has bruising as I was paying. I told the manager and all she said was there was nothing she can do about it. I simply told her that ladder should be moved and she told me where do you want me to move it to the back is full it has to stay there. I told her my son just fell from it. I’m letting you know so you can move it and the incident won’t happen to someone else’s kid.

I fell down and and I suffered a lot of pain on my left hip of the pelvis . when I went to the hospital they made me x-ray images for the area . Then give me a report saying that there are no acute fractures / dislocation . I returned to home and suffered continued pain . I visited another doctor who recommended mri after about one month of my first x-ray .Finally , I discovered that the hospital made a fatal error during writing the report .As there is an impacted fracture of the femoral neck which was very clear on their x-ray. And they should have made a hip joint fusion with screws surgery during the first 6 hours of the damage . Now unfortunately I may need hip replacement surgery because of their neglect and writing wrong report . I have been sitting at home for about two months without working with a terrible pain . Can I bring an action for the compensation of damage against this hospital and force them to pay the expense of hip replacement surgery if I need it and how much time it takes to win the case . Thanks in advance for helping me .

I was supposed to travel with glimmer tours on 9/19/23 unfortunately on July 30th,2023, I fell and had right foot fracture, doctor order not to travel, company gave me only ticket money, but did not pay $2200 for boarding

I was injured at work, went through the protocols which includes going to their immediate care and taking a drug test, was told the company is 3rd party and they would be calling me to verify my prescriptions, received the call, gave the person my pharmacy name and phone number as requested, was told im all set and again reassured that as long as my scripts were valid (they are) my job would not even be informed I was prescribed them. Yet today I was pulled into HR office and asked to write a statement, when I asked about what I was told my drug test was positive and I need to explain my conditions and why these substances were in my system. I felt blindsided and was crying so wrote a statement attesting to the fact that I am prescribed those medications, and left to desperately seek legal advice because another company just put me through it earlier this year and I refuse to be taken advantage of again. I called my pharmacy n spoke to the manager (this isn't a chain pharm either) and she told me no one from anywhere even called to verify my prescriptions. I have had panic attacks all morning and do not feel comfortable at this point returning without legal advice.

My daughter was discharged from a mental health institution on Monday 11/13/23 where she was hospitalized three days for attempting against her life. At the same time we the parents got an order of emergency protection against her because she was attempting to hurt my wife. The next day (Tuesday 14) she was picked out by the police and she was out of home. Having no money she went to an store and picked up a Christmas tree and attempted to return it, where she was caught for stealing, she said the value of the tree is around 100 dollars. at the time of this stealing she was under the influence of medications prescribed by the Psychiatrist in charge of her during her hospitalization. My daughter does not remember much when all this stealing happened, she has never stolen before. This is my 23 years old adopted daughter. My wife had a car accident almost 3 years ago and since then she was not able to work and I am receiving Social Security benefits after I retired 2 years ago. She is attending her 2nd year university, and she has a full scholarship, which is in danger to lost it, due to her mental health situation
