I consulted with Zehra in connection with a potential hostile work environment claim against my former employer. She spent over an hour on the call with me and patiently went through all possible causes of action under federal, state and city law. She was incredibly knowledgeable and generous with he...r time and gave me guidance on how to file a complaint with the New York State Division of Human Rights and explained to me what factors courts look at evaluate these types of claims. Ultimately I did not file a claim but it was so helpful to speak with someone who listened carefully, took my concerns seriously and cared about the outcome. I would definitely refer her to small businesses and members of the LGBTQ community.
