In year four, Zak joined our six year effort to defend our neighborhood against an industrial rock quarry. The developer had already been denied the local and Act250 permits; and the appeal was starting when Zak joined our team. He quickly came up to speed on the long history and strategies and was instrumental in getting us though the developer’s de novo appeal of both permits at the Environmental Court. The hearings were complex and covered all topics with many exhibits, experts and fact witnesses. Zak was involved in every aspect.
His energy and commitment to our cause helped us win the final battle that Kept 100B Quarry Free.

Zak has been a pleasure to work with. He is very well informed, very professional and advised me well. Always the perfect gentleman with a healthy sense of humor, I will recommend him to everybody in need of environmental law.
