Yufei Li

Yufei (Fei) Li is of counsel in Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP’s Private Client Department. She concentrates her practice on advising high net worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning and charitable giving, with a particular focus on cross-border planning.

Fei collaborates closely with clients to implement planning techniques that are tailored to their individual situations. Clients rely on Fei to prepare revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives. She frequently assists donors with gifting strategies and charitable giving to achieve their personal and business objectives in a tax-efficient manner.

Drawing on her experience as an expatriate in China, Fei has a unique perspective on understanding the needs of multinational families. She frequently counsels expatriate families, business owners, and entrepreneurs on international estate planning matters, in which she coordinates an integrated plan that takes into account beneficiaries in multiple countries and assets located in jurisdictions spanning the globe.

Fei is a State Bar of California Certified Specialist in estate planning, probate, and trust law. She is recognized in the Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law and Trusts and Estates Law categories in The Best Lawyers in America: “Ones to Watch.”
