Attorney is professional and with great integrity

My lawyer, Kurt Yao, has been amazing. He constantly calls me to let me know where my case is at, he gives me meticulous invoices so I know were every dime has been spent, and he answers my questions immediately whenever I need to call him. He has even had to calm me down a few times when panic has o...vertaken me, and he does so with compassion and understanding. I truly appreciate what this law firm has done for me, and I would recommend them to anyone in dire need. I am so very grateful that they happened to be the first number I dialed.

Does not communicate or inform a client as he should

Mr. Yao handled my first court hearing very well. But he did not keep in contact with me as I felt he should have been doing. He did not give me the full details or educate me of how the fees would be charged or things like that like he is supposed to do at every consultation with new clients. He onl...y partially informed me of how the charge the fees. I also felt like he would not return my emails or phones calls in a timely manner to inform me of the next steps to take with my legal case. I had to contact him instead. He also did not discuss with me the steps he was taking during my case like he should have been doing & then charged me for work I didn't even know anything about. Then he withdrew from my case after discussing payment arrangements with me & we agreed upon them verbally but then did the opposite & back out. Now I am left with no attorney & now officially almost $9000 in debt & 3 weeks away from my next court hearing.
