Vlad Doesn't Put 100% into Trials
My case: first time regular DUI BAC .12. In the trial with Vlad as my attorney, he never cross examined the 2 arresting officers. It seemed like he gave the case to prosecution. For $4,000 all he did for me was postpone the case for 1 year. When it came time for trial, he did not prepare a robust def...

Awful attorney
Verbally abusive, never asked the prosecution for what I wanted and knew I could get. Promised me I’d have my license back in ninety days, told the Judge lies about me, talked to my ex-husband about my case without my permission, berated me and told me that I had a plea agreement that was dropping th...

Worst lawyer ever
Absolutely the worst poor excuse for a lawyer. Difficult to get ahold of, didn’t put much effort into my case. Verbally abusive towards questions. When I caught a loophole worth pursuing within my case he simply stated “it’s too late”

Joseph: I can assure you that I give all my clients my full and undivided attention. That is why all my clients have my cell phone number, and are free to call, text, and email me at their convenience. It is also why I am always willing to meet my clients to discuss their case in person, by phone or video conference. Since I graduated law school and have had the good fortune to represent people in criminal cases, I have always gone out of my way to speak to clients directly and handle their cases directly. That is why I am different from other firms where a person only gets to speak to the managing lawyer once at the initial consultation, but all the actual legal work is done by a brand new associate just out of law school. I speak my clients personally at every single meeting. I do the police interviews myself, as well as all the court hearings and MVD hearings. I read the police reports and speak to the prosecutors directly. I report back to my clients directly and send them audio files of all my investigative work if they so wish. I write all the substantive motions myself. Sometimes I have my secretary return administrative phone calls regarding scheduling and other routine matters, but I always communicate directly with clients regarding substantive matters. That is how I have always practiced, when I was public defender and now in private practice. Whenever someone hires me, I make it plain what service I provide and what outcome one can reasonably expect. I never embellish or mislead. And I have never, in over a decade of practicing law, "forced" anyone to plead guilty. As most people are aware, one cannot plead guilty to a crime unless they publicly state the choice to plead guilty is voluntary and freely done. I also always make it crystal clear that if someone does not wish to plead guilty, I am more than happy to take the case further, including trial. If I didn't want to take cases to trial, I wouldn't be a criminal defense attorney. Sometimes, however, clients do not wish to take a case to trial because the plea offer is not worth turning down. All I can do is offer my advice; I cannot and will not force anyone to make a particular choice. While I will go to the ends of the Earth to defend my clients, if someone is sentenced to jail, I cannot serve the sentence for them. If someone is sentenced to jail, then that person should serve that sentence honorably and with the knowledge he is abiding by society's laws. I fully believe in due process and the presumption of innocence. That is why I enlisted in the US Marine Corp, to defend our democracy. But the Rule of Law also means that once someone pleads guilty, that person has an obligation to pay that debt with dignity and without remorse. Joseph, I understand that this was traumatic event in your life and I hope that you will be able to bounce back fully after you put this event behind you. All the best, Vladimir
