Victoria Lea Ivory

Victoria is an Atlanta native who began her journey to becoming an attorney in 2002 when she started working for a law firm. There she developed her love for the law and decided to attend law school. She graduated from law school in 2008 and passed the Georgia Bar the same year. In the beginning of her career, Victoria focused her practice on federal criminal defense and became a member of the panel of court appointed attorneys for the Northern District of Georgia. While Victoria still practices and enjoys federal criminal defense work, in 2016 she began shifting her focus and litigation skills to the practice of family law.

Victoria understands that the most common complaint clients have about their attorneys is a lack of communication. Victoria strives to respond to all emails and client calls within 24 hours (excluding weekends). Every client, opposing counsel, and court can reach Victoria on her cell phone during business hours when she is not in court, mediation, or on vacation.

In her family law practice, Victoria handles cases including, but not limited to, Divorce, Modifications of Custody and/or Child Support, Legitimation, Contempt, Equitable Caregiver, Grandparent custody/visitation, and Temporary Protective Orders. Victoria’s approach to every case focuses on what that particular case requires as she recognizes that there is not a cookie cutter approach to family law and that every family is unique.

Victoria is a member of, and can practice in, all municipal, state, and superior courts in the State of Georgia, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Victoria lives in East Atlanta with her wife, Helen, and their two rescue pups, Alex and Olivia.
