Biography
A native of Dallas, Texas, Patrice J. Holmes received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Print Jornalism from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. After graduating from SHSU, Patrice moved back to Dallas and had a successful career as a newspaper reporter for publications in Dallas and the surrounding areas.
Patrice later attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. While at TMSL, she was the managing editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Review, Secretary of the Black Law Students Association and a Dean's List Honoree. Patrice graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree.
Patrice is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas and is a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association and the Houston Bar Association.
